Clarity. Self-awareness. Meaningful change.
My work is guided by a distinctive, direct and integrative approach. I focus on getting to the heart of what is really happening, helping individuals and couples distinguish facts from assumptions, understand themselves and recognise what they can change.
Rather than getting lost in endless explanations, blame or attempts to control another person’s reactions, we focus on what is actually happening and what can be done differently.
The process
1. Clarity
Identify the real issue beneath the presenting problem. Separate observable facts from assumptions, interpretations and expectations.
2. Self-awareness
Understand your own needs, values, emotional responses and behavioural patterns.
3. Acceptance
Recognise what is actually there, including differences, limitations and circumstances that may not be within your control. Acceptance does not mean approval or giving up; it means starting from an honest understanding of reality.
4. Self-regulation
Develop the ability to understand and manage your own emotional responses while remaining open to mutual support and connection.
5. Personal responsibility
Recognise where your influence begins and ends, and take ownership of the choices and responses that are yours to make.
6. Committed action
Turn understanding into practical changes that reflect what matters to you.
What is the aim?
The aim is to move beyond fear, unnecessary conflict and the need for external validation towards greater clarity, self-regulation, acceptance and meaningful change.
In relationships, this can create more room for honesty, mutual understanding and individual freedom. You can remain connected to another person without losing your connection to yourself.
My approach is direct and honest, but always grounded in empathy and respect. It is not about judging people or demanding that they become someone else. It is about understanding what is really happening and working with reality rather than fighting against it.
The goal is not to control everything around you. It is to become clearer, more grounded and more intentional in how you respond.
The Bellafiore Approach brings together six principles to help you develop greater clarity, emotional awareness and personal freedom.
